Has anyone done a round up of which 5870 board is the best? I am building my system in the next week or so and want to make sure that for basically the same coin I get the one with the best fans, etc.

Thanks,

xfx has double lifetime warranty (lifetime warranty transfers to 2nd owner), visiontek has lifetime warranty, asus and gigabyte have 3 year warranty, all others have one year warranty. otherwise they should all be identical.

Other than warranties....ASUS has the Voltage tweak software (which sounds pretty impressive to me). 1440 shaders @ 1050 Mhz is a lot of TFLOPs.

The 5870 runs cool and is quiet but the vapor-x coolers should make that great product even better. The only downside of vapor-x coolers is dumping half of the hot air inside the case.
That's why i didn't buy 4890 vapor-x (one of the best price/performance/features cards before 5850 launch) but waiting for 5770 instead.

My case cooling is more than adequate so the Vapor-X doesn't bother me much in that regard. Definitely looking forward to that card however, hoping to have some news in the coming days.
