ATI 5870 in Stock HURRY ZIPZOOM FLY

thats the price they're worth.. they're the best cards on the market right now. we're lucky ATI isn't like nvidia and isn't raping us a new asshole with a $600 8800gtx

when was the last time you've had to RMA a video card. i've never had to...

by the time the card dies, you'll either have made an upgrade already or will want an upgrade.

I just bought mine 2 days ago for retail with a 10 percent off coupon at BB. This markup will be temporary.

My friend had to rma his 4870x2 diamond and they only give you one rma. It sucks.

i've never even had to RMA my card once and its been like 3 years, i've also never RMA'd a x1900xt for 3 years, and before that i've never had to RMA a 6800

do u plan on RMA-ing your video card many times in its useful lifetime?

Nvidia's dithering in producing a competing product. 🙁

There is shortage of chips from AMD (ATI), they had to increase prices.

Also, I second the opinion about RMA not being a big issue. I've never had to RMA either of my 9800Pro, x800Pro, 6600GT, 7900GS, x850XT, x1950Pro, HD3850, HD4850, or current HD4870. All cards have been used for at least 1.5 years, have been voltmoded, overclocked, heatsink/fan swaped 3-4 times. All older cards were always returned to stock and sold on eBay. Still own the last 2 in the list and the 7900GS (4850 is 2 years old now. It and the 4870 are under voltmod with Accelero S1 + 120mm Scythe fans. 7900GS is voltmoded, under VF900-Cu). Of course, manufacture defect is always a possibility. However, I believe most video card failures are user error (bad power supplies/electrical in the house, poor ventilation, dust, etc.). Now, if you know you're a noob and kill hardware all the time, go with XFX, BFG, eVGA (only the first one makes cards on ATI chips though), best warranty in the industry.

holy multipost batman!!

Be careful with ZZF. They are notorious for listing items in stock, taken the order, charging your credit card, then the item goes OOS and they never tell you that.

ZZF sucks something awful.

It's hot for people that just want to find the card in stock. If you don't like it then move along... don't thread crap for the sake of it.
