I mainly play WoW right now on a Soyo 24" but I would like to get into some newer games. what do you guys think? I dont think Ill come across a better price for a while on an equivalent card.

$140 FTW- big upgrade, cheap, and you can defray the cost by selling your 7900GS.

a great deal at $140, definitely worth it. If it's that price here I would buy one too.

Will this deal be B&M only or available online? If online, what time does BB start accepting orders from the new week's sales? Been thinking of upgrading the ole x1900gt and this looks like a good way to do it.

That's a pretty good deal on the card. But 4GB with Windows XP isn't ;)

Hah. I went to my local Best Buy to see if they had this deal. I didn't see any 3870's in the video card section, so hoping they stashed more video cards elsewhere, I asked 2 staff who were standing together if they had 3870's in stock. They answered "I don't know what that is." ugh.

Strangely enough, the 3870 does not appear to be part of this sale. When you click the link for included cards online you get a bunch of low end crap (x1550, 2400 and 2600 cards) and the 3870 isn't on the list. When you search for the 3870 separately, it's listed on the website but at normal price.

My guess: you won't find many 3870s available in store.

EDIT: Found this statement under product features for the VisionTek 3870.

From our expanded online assortment; not available in all Best Buy stores
