I gave my paretns my old computer when i bought my new one in january. the motherboard in it is an asus a7v333 which says that it can support any (333fsb athlon xp) well, i looked at local places and a 3000+ athlon xp is quite rare and expensive but a socket A sempron 3000+ is a lil cheaper(also 333fsb). What is the difference between them?
Also, if a 3000+ isnt a good choice, please gimme an alternative. Since they have a mobo that can support a faster cpu(currently a xp1600+) and upgrading wont be too expensive i thought i would suggest it to them
