TCWO has the AMD Athlon XP 1800+ cpu for $106 + 6.95 s/h (under 150 lbs). i thought this was a pretty good deal. i havent seen it cheaper anywhere else yet. the rate a 8.68/10 on reseller ratings
 
Price is showing $118 again, and also to note :

"* 1 Year Warranty with the purchase of a cooling fan, we recommend the AMD Approved $16.00 Coolermaster DP5 heatsink/fan, 15 day warranty if no heatsink/fan unit puchased, HSF *must* be on same order."
 
While I have purchased OEM's from TCWO, I really think the NewEgg Retail units are better values. You get a heatsink/fan and 3 year warranty for $130 shipped on an 1800 right now.
 
Has anyone ever collected on the 3yr warranty? I read the PIB warranty and it says:

"This limited warranty does not cover damages due to external causes, including improper use, problems with electrical power, accident, neglect, alteration, repair, improper installation, or improper testing. "

Doesn't that cover everything that could possibly happen? I've always felt safer buying oem and a nice hsf that keeps the temp. down.
