Hey guys,

How do i tell if my chip is .9m instead of .13m to be on the safe side.. i purchased a 3500+ .9m

but it doesnt state anywhere on the box whether is .13 or .9.. where would i see it on the chip or box..?

Is there a certain serial number i should look for? if so.. where?

Thanks.

Thanks Guy,

I'll take a look at it at home and post a reply, but its abit late to look on the cpu since its all mounted and connected.. i'll look for the serial # on the box and let you guys know..

Thanks again!

I didn't know you already installed it. All you have to do is install a freeware application called CPU-Z and run it. That will tell you whether it's 90 or 130nm. It also gives you info on your clockspeed and info on the memory you installed.

Actually, if you want to get really specific, it's .09µm a.k.a. 90 nanometer. Regardless, we knew what he was talking about.
