Athlon64 3000+ retail package - include thermal grease?

Does the Athlon64 3000+ retail package include the thermal grease (or equivalent)? Or do I have to buy separately?

The stock thermal grease on these a64's is pretty decent...i believe it's Shin-Etsu (sp?). Anyhow, that's what I'm using and temps are great. 🙂

I guess I have to buy some - Is there anything to look for when buying thermal grease? What about a thermal pad? What works best with the 3000+?

So, they actually include some in the package?

There is a thermal pad on the stock HSF which is supposed to be quite decent, however if you ever remove the HSF, you need to buy thermal paste/pad/whatever..

edit: if you want to reinstall the HSF...

there is some preapplied thermal compound, but I scraped it off to put some AS5 on it. I love AS5, and I think it's worth it. With AS5 and a stock cooler, I have been able to overclock my 3000+ by 700MHz and it still runs pretty cool. I may push it even farther, but i'm gonna have to up my vcore, so i'm not sure if i will or not.
