A normal Athlon XP 1666Mhz is now configured at 133*12.5. SiS has released SiS 745, which supports DDR333(166MHz). What would happen if a 1666Mhz is set to work at 166*10 instead of 133*12.5?
Anybody has an idea?

Hey Welcome to AnandTech!
AMD Athlon XP 2000+ has its Xplier locked at 12.5x. You'll need to unlock it and manually force it down to 10x or it'd be set to 166 2/3MHz x 12.5=2083 1/3MHz and instantly freeze.
