Man, you are really making this harder on yourself then needs be. Not to flame, but if you are spending over $1000 to build a new computer, I suggest doing a little more research as it really doesnt sound like you know what you are doing (no offense). You arent even aware of the differencee between a P4 connector or regualer ATX connector or what an AMD approve PSU is.
That being said, go buy an Antec SX840 if you dont want a door covering the drive bays, or get what I have SX1040B (actually have 2 of the SX1000 Varities)
Either can be had at EMS computing for around $130 shipped and are THE BEST cases in tjhe non aluminum arena.
Also, I like New Egg, but I wouldnt get everything from there. You can get the 8045 cheaper from SVC with a fan for example. Would be cool if New Egg combioned shipping, but they charge you per piece, not by weight.

"between a P4 connector or regualer ATX connector"

but im still unclear....will my "P4 Ready Case" go with my athlon mobo?

and should i go with the EPOX EP-8KHA+ or the MSI K7T266 PRO2?

Yes,it just means that it also has the connector for the Pentium MObos. If you are looking at ANY Antec SX case, then you certainly have nothing to worry about. P4 ready means it has the additional connector needed for the P4, not just the P4 only connector. You should be able to get the 8045 from SVC with a fan for under $40 shipped. Good luck with new rig!
PS.... I have the 8KHA+ and an XP1600 running at 1540@146fsb. It is fast. Not the easiest to OC and get stable, but it's good, especially if not Oc'ing at all. I have no experince with the MSI. I may go for the Sis 745 when it comes out if there is good overclocking.

P4-ready case just mean that it has a p4-compatible psu (the only thing that makes it p4-compatible is that it has an EXTRA 4 plug power connector to the mobo as P4 mobos need more power, Athlon mobos use the standard ATX-plug and don't need extra power) or that you can mount a p4-mobo in it (but you can do that with all ATX-cases). Don't worry about such things, if it can run a P4 it can run your Athlon fine.

I would advise getting at least a 300W psu and preferably more as Athlons (all versions of 'em) are power hogs, if you get more components (drives for example) later it might get close to the limit of a 300W psu.

Good choice, at least all the people who have it seem to like it, haven't had one myself but it seem to be nice.

Glad to have been of help, remember: there's no stupid questions just stupid answers!
Feel free to ask if you have more trouble with building the computer, it's better to ask than make a mistake.
