I flashed the bios on the mobo up to 1007, but my comp still won't post!!! What do I have to do now??

Try to jumper your Board manually. The autodetect feature somtimes screws
up with the Atlon XP. After jumpering the Board for your CPU it runs perfect if
you have the following Board: Board Rev. 1.05. or higher. BIOS version 1.007
or higher.
Bye

While the above solution worked in my ex-a7v133-c, i got another problem. Lots and lots of data corruption (couldn't play CS 🙁), BSOD's, etc etc.. if you get this problem its because your MB doesn't support it fully.

Just warning you so you don't have the same headache as me.

Does anyone know where I can find the specs for the xp 1600+ so I can jumper my board manually?? I ask because I'm new to all this and have never had to jumper manually before. Using my friend's acct, cuz I can't get the pc working

1. Clear the CMOS.
2. Set the vcore, multiplier & FSB thru jumper.
3. Fire up the PC.

For PCB rev 1.05 & below. U must run this mobo in jumpermode in order to run XP stable. For PCB ver 1.05. (note the trailing dot), u can run in jumperfree mode.

Vcore is 1.75v
FSB is 133
Multiplier setting is 10.5.

XP1600+ runs at 1.4 Ghz.
