The question is already stated in the title, would an AMD athlon II x4 630 bottleneck an MSI CYCLONE N460GTX CYCLONE 768D5/OC?
Thanks for an answer!

Would you get better performance out of your GTX 460 768 with a Core i5 or i7? Yes.

Would you get better performance with your current system if you choose a GTX 460 768 instead of a GTS 450? Yes.

So I'd say no. If you have an old school Athlon X2 4200+ or something, sure. But Quad-Core, decent architecture, and alright clock speeds means you're fine. But I would OC that from 2.8GHz to 3.1-3.4 or so. Since most games are still dual-core optimized, you really want to hit at least 3GHz as that's a magic number for CPU dependent games a lot of times.

as crisium hinted at you wont be getting 100% of the card in many games but its hardly an issue. what resolution will you be playing at because that will determine a lot too?

I have a x4 630 @ 3,25 and is planning to jump to the 1GB version or NI from MAD (amd) next year, my thought are such:
1. i probably won't max out this card with a x4 but will get better frames than my 4850
2. if i turn on every eye candy from the game then the bottleneck will be on 460 not my cpu.

I'll be going 1080p, so this graphical card would be a good choice for an athlon II X4 630, or should i wait until mid october for price drops thanks to the ATI 6xxx releases?

I would wait 2-3 more weeks and see if we get some prices drops on all gtx460 cards. if we do then I would grab the 1gb model for 1920x1080 if you are trying to play all the latest games.

Wait until the 6 series AMD Radeons come out. Why is everyone so obsessed with bottlenecking?? @ 1080P it's all mostly GPU anyway.

it'll only hurt your minimum frames/second. Usually the CPU can calculate the info needed, but when you need memory from RAM, then the CPU stalls and you get a minimum frame rate.
