Athlon II X3 440 Unlock problem

Hey, first attempt at OCing/Unlocking w/ new gen AMD cpus...

mobo: GA-MA78LM-S2 (rev. 1.0), latest bios update

cpu: Athlon II x3 440

ram: 2x1gb Corsair XMS

PSU: Antec 550 earth watts

In the bios I change the settings to unlock whatever will unlock, ( 4th core/L3 cache)

leave everything else at stock.

reboot and it shows up on post as Phenom x4

cpu Id shows Phenom x4 and Denab, 4th core shows up

run CPU stability for just shy of an hour no problems, ran 3d Mark Vantage, completed...

everything seems fine...

but, I go to a web page and all pics are pixilated.

restore bios to defaults and everything is fine.

I've googled it several times and find nothing.. I'm sure I'm not wording it right in my search...

any thoughts??

yeah sounds like 4th core is bad, you could try bumping vcore a little

BTW, bios is latest version, f15 I believe...

I haven't tried bumping voltages.. seems odd everything seems fine, but I can't look at pics on web pages...

I read to try CPU voltage at 1.4 and NB at 1.35

I see two NB, one is VID NB the other is just NB, which one? both?

The VID NB should be the CPU one.
