Athlon II 2.3GHz laptop good for my needs?

Best Buy has a Dell laptop for $330 and it has an Athlon II 2.3GHz, 4GB RAM and a ATI Mobility HD4250 onboard video. I already have a desktop with an i7 2600k with a GTX 580 but I was thinking about just connecting my desktop to my 32" 1080P HDTV and just using it for gaming and buying a cheap laptop for non-gaming purposes and possible mobility if I ever need mobility. Would the laptop I described handle what I want well?
 
thats what my wife was using for quite awhile and it never felt sluggish to her, it more than handled her useage, which was office work and facebook games
