I am planning to get a AMD Athlon 700MHz processor. I do want to OC it in some ways. But before that, which motherboard is good, and suitable use to overclock it?

If its a "classic" Athlon 700, there is none better than the KA7 and KA7 100. For the Tbird its best to ask around a bit more, because you'll get a better response from those that are using them.

Agreed. I am running an 850 Classic on the Abit KA7 and it is a great board. The ASUS K7V is also a pretty nice board, but I am an Abit fan. :)

With the added Raid feature on the KA7-100 the Abit board is the best bang for your buck. It has a lot of overclocking tweaking features that the K7V doesn't. You might not even need a GFD because you can raise the Core Voltage in softmenu. But make sure you use a classic Athlon chip. The new thunderbird is kinda flaky on KX133 boards.

Just to give you an idea, check out my specs below with a OEM 850 "classic" Athlon and no GFD...
