Just came UPS today. I have mine at 2.61Ghz (290x9) @ 1.425V with 110% on the next option (forget the option) on the DFI NF4 Ultra-D. That isn't even it's highest! 😀 I'm sooo pleased.

I did a google on your stepping but it all came up in German. Anyone?

Yea honestly lay off the pointless posts. Kinda like this one. I'm really excited for my new rig to come 😀 .

good luck hoping to get more than 2.5 GHz on your chip, that's what dreams are for

Sorry, was too excited and just put it in. My 3200+ Venice wouldn't go past 2.4 without some serious prodding... it was YBBLE, I don't remember the rest...

steppings? I am pleased too!

just got my YBBLE 0524DPBW today, but the box was crushed. I checked the processor and the pins aren't bent. I won't be gettinng my MB until later this week so I can't test the CPU. I'm a newbie, and wondering if there could be "non-visible" damage (ie, can processor get damaged with heavy load on top)? eWiz supposedly give 1 day grace period to report shipping damamge. I'm wondering if I should just try to get a replacement.

If it's in good physical shape, it should work fine. I'd be worried if the cpu heatspreader was dented or if the pins were bent.

The box had those large air bubble packs (about 5 by 10 inches). All together there were 4 bubbles. The bubble under the CPU was popped (deflated). The one on top still had air.

I'm worried because I've heard stories how people damage the CPU by applying too much force on the heatsink.

edit: The processor itself was in a small plastic container with foam padding on the bottom (althogether about 1-2 inches high). The plastic on top was not bent, but if you applly pressure, you can see the CPU move

Ha, I think my 3200+ is even worse. 2.3 at stock voltage, 2.4 at 1.55v. I might pick up one of these from eWiz if it's such a good stepping. BTW I just ordered a Duron and Seasonic Power Angel from them, and they were fast about it. So I'm pretty satisfied with their service.

The shipping box was damaged but the chip is fine. Weird that you had the same problem.
A long time ago, I thought the UPS guy didn't like me as most of my boxes were damaged (especially around the corners). But then I found most of my neighbors had the same problem. Oh well, I assume we'll be ok if the chip fires up, (ie, any shipping damage would cause the chip to fail right now, NOT a few months later)

Mine came today. LBBLE Week 21. I ordered yesterday. will provide OCing results later

EDIT: Does 2.60Ghz (same as my older winnie). It boots up at 2.70Ghz...testing for stability at 2.70Ghz

EDIT2: Does 2640 @ 1.60v. bumbed it back to 2600 MHz (325 x 8 on my DFI Ultra-D board). Winbond UTT Ram running at 2-2-2-6 @ 1T at 3.20v @ ~216 MHz. Will bump up the ram higher later.

I received a YBBLE 0524DPBW on 7/18. But I won't be able to put everything together until I finish purchasing my components. From what I'm seeing on some of the other forums, 2.5 to 2.7 GHz is a reasonable expectation on air for this specific stepping.

it looks like the ybble week 24 are pretty weak, or at least need alot of volts.

my monarch 3200 came today, hopefully i'll have better luck its a lbble week 21

how long did urs take to ship?

i ordered mine last thurs., have had the tracking number for a while... the last entry in UPS is "Departure Scan" from San Pablo, CA, US... but that was 9:18AM on July 19th...

i mean, i'm on the east coast and i guess they are shipping from CA, but how friggin long can this take!

Mine did take a long time to ship but I think e-wiz sent it out the same day, it was ups's slow ass shipping. My theory is the little places like e-wiz get a different level of service from ups, unlike the bigger front-ends for ingram micro like newegg.

It looks like AMD's yeilds have remained the same while the demand as up, which would mean the top speed e's are being sold at the higher grades...thus the ones in the lower range, 3000, are not overclocking as well.
