I have an Athlon 1.2 GHz 266FSB A1200AMS3C, an Abit KT7A-Raid, and 256MB SDRAM Micron True PC133 w/ECC and SPD - Registered 7.5 NS. The system has not problem @ 12 x 100MHz but when I set my system to 9 x 133MHz and save my monitor goes out. After some reboots I will get back in. It will either reset to 9 x 100Mhz or start the bootup but seems to lock right before loading controller HDA. It is not a solid lock because I can still get into the BIOS. Will simply unlocking the processor correct this? I would think that a 266MHz model would allow both 9 and 12 operation. I have a Mini Super Orb and the heatsink is @ room temp so I do not believe it is any issue with heat dissapation. HELP! 🙂 Also. What would be some suggested optimum configs for the ram with this BIOS?
