Athlon 1000 running at 45C (CPU Temp), Can I Overclock?

I have a Thunderbird 1000, which is running at 45 degrees Celsius (CPU Temp) and a Chassis (Case Temp) of 32 degrees Celsius. I haven't overclocked yet, just wondering if its safe to do so. I have a case fan for intake, one for exhaust in the back, and the TaiSol CPU Fan. What are some of the upper limits for temperature? What temperature should I start worrying at?

Thanks for the help!

I would get a better fan before I overclock, just to be safe ...

Yes, you can overclock. Start to worry if load temps go over 55. If so consider better HSF.

man...all these discussions about temps...i think as long as it's not 60 it will be fine...
aren't these babies rated to live @ 70's?

They're rated into the 90s, but remember all of the issues with socket thermistor temperature inaccuracy, those things read a lot lower than they actually are.
