Looks very nice, at least $50 less then anywhere I else I think. The only question I have is are they any good, the specs look good, anyone have experience with these?

I bought these last month and couldnt be any happier. They were open box and 50% off open box price. Ended up being $200. These are great if you have a wife who doesnt like big bulky speakers in her house.

I picked these up a couple of weeks back from Best Buy's and they sound great. I have the speakers hooked up to a Panasonic SR-X25 Receiver and couldnt be happier with the small footprint in the family room and the robust sound from DVDs or HD broadcasts in Dolby Digital.

Considering picking up another set from the bedroom.....choices..choices.....

just letting you guys know... that sub is horrible. nothing but distortion, and completely uncharacteristic of athena's typical quality.

Sub has dual 3 1/2" woofers. Totally worthless. Logitech's would rock these speakers world. I would pass if it was me. You get what you pay for.

Just because the woofers in these are small doesn't mean they suck compared to Logitech, I have a feeling they do, but that's not the point. I'm sure you heard size doesn't matter, I haven't however, but there are some killer speakers out there that are very small.

Are you sure it's 3.5 inch for the sub? The satellites have 3.5" woofers, but the description states:

M225 Subwoofer Specifications:

Down Firing, Front Vented Bass Reflex Active Subwoofer

Frequency Response: (+/-3dB) 30-100Hz

MOSFET power amplifier - 225 watts - 75 Watts RMS

Woofer: 8 High Excursion Injection Molded Poly cone

Front Control for simple level adjustment

Crossover system pre tuned to perfectly blend with the MS satellite speaker

RCA and High Level inputs for flexibility with virtually any audio video receiver

8" subwoofer???

It's a man's birthright to have big bulky wall shaking speakers. It's time to get a new wife. :D

Hmmm - are these worthwhile at $236 (Open Box, Clearance, all cables, if any, included, flawless return) WITH the 30% email coupon on top of the 10% additional Open Box discount? In stock ... somwhere within my grasp ;)

That would be (236 x 0.9) x 0.7 = 148.68 :D (plus tax)
