ATF Gets custom engraved Leathermans

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms requires the following items, Purchase Description Determined by Line Item, to the following:
LI 001, EXACT MATCH ONLY - Leatherman Micra Color: Blue - Part number 64340101K Engraved with: ATF-Asset Forfeiture AND "always think forfeiture" PLEASE REFER TO THE ATTACHMENT. NOTE: ATF MAY REQUEST A SAMPLE TO DETERMINE IF IT MEETS OUR REQUIREMENT. A picture of the item may be substituted in place of the actual sample. ***Partial Shipments are allowed. So not only are they spending $18 in custom engraving per Leatherman (not including the cost of the tool,) but they're having it engraved with something offensive, and un-American.

They continue to push, and push, and TRY to look like jack-booted thugs, almost as if they're trying to become charicatures of themselves.

For those of you unfamiliar with civil seizure\forfeiture, basically they seize your property (often times large amounts of cash,) and then you must prove that it's yours, and that you should have it. Forfeiture is when they seizure property from someone convicted of a crime. Often times, the pursuit of forfeited property causes them to charge people who shouldn't be charged, all in the pursuit of stealing American citizen's stuff.

I think these guys forget, they're supposed to work for us. :|
