Atari/Epic to release Multiplayer patch for Unreal 2[edit]demo being released today

Coming out before christmas as either a download for those with Unreal 2 or as a Special Edition retail release. The Multiplayer is a Team Based type that includes vehicles. Sounds like a must have for those who have Unreal 2 already.

Update: a Demo of the Multiplayer game will be released today. It is a standalone demo so no copy of U2 is needed to try it.

I dunno...Unreal 2 CO-OP would be pretty good fun.

As far as I can tell there will only be the on gametype, but I agree Co-op would be nice.

There will be a demo released later, it does sort of sound like more of the same though. There's only one way to find out though.

I knew those Unreal 2 discs would be good . . . someday . . . eventually . . .

Isn't the game a current $10 Hot Deal? (I'm not sure - my memory is . . . - and I'm too lazy to look since I have the game)

Well, it looks like it might be great, but unfortunetly my Cable connection hates Unreal/UT?UT2k3/Unreal2 netcode(save a couple UT mods)so I am completely unable to try it out online.
