ATA66 Mobile HD Racks for $7 +S/H

Available from Aaronix. Yes, I read the Resller Ratings reports for Aaronix (Pacific Memory Group as well) before ordered. Even though a lot of negativity, I felt I could live with a $25 risk.

My first order of two mobile racks was cancelled because my work address isn't registered with my credit card. Ironically, I've never had this problem before, having ordered $1K+ of merchandise online and had it sent to me at work. Oh well.

Placed same order and had it sent to my apartment. Items were delivered seven days later (UPS Ground from CA to VA). Shipping seemed hella expensive ($10 and change) on a $14 subtotal. However, you probably won't find TWO ATA66 mobile racks for less that $20 each before shipping.

My only knock on these racks is that there is no spring-loaded flap that "seals" the open drive bay when I take out the drive.

If you want cheap ATA66 racks, CompGeeks.com carries them for
around $7, as well, and they charge REASONABLE shipping.

Oh, and they (CompGeeks) are reliable.

I agree with you all in that the reports on this vendor have been much less than favorable (shipping and service). I happened to have a good experience. I could have gotten better racks at more than twice the price.

ATA66 mobile racks @ USSA are $22 each. (I don't wanna learn about the $10 coupon thing.) My entire order for two was $25.

I tried a few searches at CompGeeks and couldn't come up with anything.

I've ordered from aaronix before. Not a good experience. I actually got a busy signal for an entire day. They must have just taken the phone off the hook or something. They are one of those companies that tries to entice you with low prices and then make it back on the shipping. A good deal is a good deal, but be very careful with them.
