ATA66 $10 no gimmicks/rebates

the card I got works fine, but it did not come with any cables. i guess I am lucky from what others seem to have received. Just trying to spread some info...

Do yourself a favor and never use PCI slot 1 except if you use PCI video. It usually shares IRQ with AGP slot. If you look in your motherboard manual it should tell you which slots share with what. You should be able to install 4 cards or so before sharing starts up.

If you don't live in one of the states that has a Fry's, how do you order from them? I've been looking for a good deal on a ATA controller card.
