Hi,

I have a promise Ultra100 card, and a IBM 75GXP... I know that the card will show up as a SCSI card. But the disk, should that be showed as a SCSI disk?
I have ran Sandra, and the disk seems very slow... And I cannot find any option in the device manager to turn on DMA, cause the disk shows, as I said, as a SCSI disk.

Any suggestions?

Oh, and yeah, I have a Intel chipset motherboard...

check your IRQ, if ATA controller card share irq w/ other device, it will indirectly effect the performance of your HD.

It sits on number 17, all alone...
I read an old thread about a guy who had a similar problem like mine...he installed the Via 4.29 drivers, and that solved it for him. Unfortunantly, I cant install the Via drivers...
