ATA100 hard-disk plugged into ATA66 interface

What is the speed I should expect from this combination? The ATA100 hd would be nearly as fast as with an ata100 controller, or it will be like my old ata66 hd?

I dont think you'll even see a difference... ATA100 HDs peak at that speed anyway... my ATA66 HD is plugged into an ATA33...

You won't notice a difference.

The burst speed will be capped at 66, but your sustained transfer rate is never going to excede 40 anyway.
