ATA 133 controller card??

I'm thinking of getting an ABIT KR7A-133R mobo and a Maxtor ATA 133 HD, and wonder if I need a ATA 133 controller card?
Anyone help?

that mobo has 4 ATA133 channels, hence the 133 in its name. these include controller chips. in fact you probably would have problems using an additional controller card with a board like this. so in answer to your question, no you dont need to buy an additional card. 🙂
