I still kill LK every week, but that is simply because he drops some of the best loot. I have the crossbow (just got it last night!) and still could use the polearm. If nobody needs anything from him, the only real reason to continue to kill him is simply because you want to.

I've been trying to get a group together to get my 10m drake and hopefully kill 10 HM LK, but yeah, besides the meta, I've no reason to run 10m ICC10 anymore.

So, since I just recently picked up an Android phone (HTC EVO 4g), added the authenticator to my account. This is making me want to make a simpler password. As of right now, it is 14 characters long of random letters, numbers, and special characters. Not so much of a pain, as I've memorized it, but less convenient than something simpler. Would it be a good idea to change it?

I'd think you'd be fine with something simpler, now that you have the auth.

Personally, I use a non-random (but seemingly so) string by following a pattern of letters/numbers/shifts on the keyboard. The first one I ever did was zaq1@wsx. I did up and down on the letters/shifts for a while, changed directions, etc, but they're always easy/fast to type/remember because it's a pattern on the keyboard. The spiral ones I've done, like: r$3edfGt5 - are a little harder to type so I don't do those any more.

The problem is that the loot isn't necessarily better than 25-man stuff and some of it is just designed awfully (crit/mp5 caster mace). Is the crossbow even better than Zod's? I still use the tanking sword off anub10 because I don't find much to be better. I'd use heroic Facelifter off Putricide, but we never attempt heroic putricide.

I don't dislike the idea of beating him, but I would prefer a focus on hard modes when most of the group has, but I guess since a few people switched to alts they wanted to be Kingslayers too.

The 25man crossbow is better than Zod's.

But yes, the heroic 10m loot is basically on par with the 25m loot. I'd try and convince them to focus more on HMs or find another group to run with. Constantly kill LK with no real progression will end up just being a grind and will burn you out quick.

Oh I meant the 10-man crossbow off LK that has the 3.0 speed.

We do have some focus on 10H, but if we can't beat it in 2-3 tries we just go normal and move on. We also don't try harder bosses like Saurfang, Putricide or Sindragosa.

What really sucks is that we may bring 2-3 new people and they won't know the LK fight so that's almost a guaranteed hour or two of wipes. That can be draining when you know it well.

Correct. There is a list of all the things wrong with bnet2.0 regarding sc2.

You say that like there is something special about this list. I'm sure there is also a list of all the things right. And also a list of all the things people don't give a shit about. And a list about all the things John doe likes that Jane Doe hates. etc etc etc.

Even better, this means jack shit to wow, so why mention it? To WoW BNET 2.0 will be a good thing allowing communication cross server and cross games. Bring SC2 discussion to the SC2 thread.

there is something special, don't be mad.

lolNvidia.

Seriously though, that's a pretty good price. It's too bad console games have killed GPU progression in PCs. my 8800GTS 512 still runs most games at high/very high at 1920x1200 just fine, which depresses me since it's nearly 3 years old.

I forgot it was like to have any fps lag with my 5870. Everything is maxed out as well.

yep, now both my monitors do 19*12, so while there are still some around here that laugh at getting the top of the line cards cause they're still playing at 1280*1024, once you get those bigger rez sizes, and/or like to use AA and such, you can really start to push the output on them.

I run 5850 x2 in CF with a nice OC i7 860, so my WoW runs pretty good.

One nice thing I just found out... Turbo Mode apparently works on my motherboard now. Before, I was stuck at 2.6Ghz with it on or off, but I recently updated to a new BIOS revision (I love being ASUS's beta test bitch), and now I'm at 2.9Ghz -> 3.2Ghz. It really jumps around a bit though.

I think it's really helping to smooth out my framerate even more.

At least you aren't like us... we spent an hour just to beat Failwalker. My side (the close side) had no trouble interrupting mages, but the other side was doing just awful... people don't switch to skellies ASAP (unless you're an interrupter on a mage, GTFO).

Had a good night last night, 7/12 heroics down with a full clear of ICC 25. Hoping the raid attendance boss is dead since we did some massive recruiting.
