We use an add on that marks and whispers whose biting who 15sec before it goes into effect.

With that, we can't down Putricide today because Illidan is the greatest server ever. Entire raid with 1000ms ping because all the 4/12 kids think its fun to pug ICC... Sometimes I seriously dislike this server.

Only raid leader needs it. It just announces it in raid warning and whispers the appropriate people. You can also sync it with recount and it picks the players doing the most damage to get bitten next.

Interesting realm news, seems one of the low pop pvp realms is being converted to pve.


Also, someone broke my 23" monitor so looking for another. Thinking about getting that dell 22" ultrasharp. Anyone have or seen that one?

I'm actually pondering getting two Dell 27" ultrasharps. I'm just kinda hoping Dell puts them on sale again so it isn't so painful to buy them :p.

But I'd assume that the 22" might be quite nice, although some may recommend going to the 24" because of the nice IPS panel (albeit, it's a decent jump in price too).

Now, if only TSMC would stop fucking around with their manufacturing and ATI's Radeon HD 5970s would become available again, I could get one of those too :p.

My guild is pretty casual, but we have some "hardcore" people in it that just don't have the time to raid like that anymore, including me (WTB college again). Because of this, we actually have our hunter MD our ret pally to make sure he gets the first bite...then its a set order from then on which mainly only includes those hardcoreish people.

This could be your chance then to jump into 3d gaming and get a 120hz monitor. From what I hear WoW looks amazing in 3d, but you have to play around with the convergence settings a bit.

I did have an older version of the 24" dell in my den, but don't really need/want as big for the one in the bedroom. This 22 is also an IPS and looks like it's been on sale for close to 200 a couple times.

we do it based on groups but with 2 locks in 2 group someone fed it up

what makes it funnier is that im pretty much the ONLY F Orc lock on the server

Female orcs used to by far be the least race combo, but as of late I've seen a growing number of them; at least enough that I don't have to think how long it's been since the last time I've seen one.

there are a few peopel selling LCDs on the first page of the FS/FT forums one is a 2407 and someone else is selling 3 NEC 23 inchers

I been debating setting up an EyeFinity set-up, but I love my 28" and wouldn't want to downgrade. If they made a borderless LCD though, I'd have to grab one of those up. Been looking for ways to push my 5850 CF set up.

My lock, warrior, and dk are all orcs. Druid and shammy are cow, rogue and priest are undead, mage and hunter are troll, and pally is my only BE (all made after BC so I consider this an honor)

This IMO will be the thing holding back eyefinity gaming more then anything else, people really hate having a 1-2 inch black bar in the middle of their screens

That is the only reason I haven't done it. If they made bordlerss, or even small (1/4" or less) borders, it would be a lot better.

Reminds me of back in the day when they really started offering free realm transfers heavily and said if enough didn't transfer they would take other measures like splitting realms and not-very voluntary placement in the resultant realms.

What would be the reason to convert a realm anyway? Unless there aren't many low population PvE realms anymore, why bother messing with PvP ones?

Amusingly enough, the 27" Dell that I was referring to earlier even lists "small bezel!" on its feature list to try and promote dual (or more) monitors.

Personally, I have no desire to do a horizontal, vertical or combination span on my monitors... I much prefer split desktops, and because of that, the bezels don't really bother me much.

I'm just assuming that PVE realms tend to get more players on them on average, so since the server has a terrible population, they're making it PVE to attract more players. Just a guess.
