I hit 100 on Monday, I 100% Frostfire & Spires. I still have a lot of quests in Talador left and I didn't fully explore gorgrond so there may be quests there

the only quests I did in Nagrand before hitting 100 were the ones to get the outpost building

Yeah the only place I completely finished was Shadowmoon. I am gonna go back and finish out all of the quest lines in every area since they give you followers.

Also how does the Epic/Rare followers upgrade work? Just random? My fresh 90 Shaman got the luck of the draw and had an epic upgrade to that first worker you get when starting your garrison. D:

What were you doing between to get so much xp? I did all of SMV, almost all of gorgond/spires, most of talador and hit 100 more than half way through nagrand.

Also, on a pvp server, if you don't take the combat riding option for nagrand, you're fucked.

You can mount in combat, while moving. As a ranged character you can kite melee from one end of the map to the other. :sneaky:

Random, also the garrison upgrade that upgrades items does NOT work on followers.

Did you hit up all of the bonus quests? I barely make it through 2-3 quest lines before I have to move to the next zone.

I've finished every zone that I've been through so far. I'm about halfway through 98 and I'm probably about 25% done with Spires of Arakk. I do complete all of the optional objectives as well. To note, I have done none of the instances as those would be another source of EXP.

still gotta at least quest until I get honored with the Kalaxxi, though, so I can get my BS'ing up to 600 (currently 587/600)..

My Paladin is also my Blacksmith, but I don't really know anything about MoP. So, why do you need Kalaxxi at honored to level Blacksmithing?

Didn't they introduce new recipes that give skill ups from 1 all the way to 600?

Yep. I'm pretty sure they made it easy for just about any tradeskill including the minor ones. Although, I guess I kind of hate wasting the "good mats" just to level up in the earlier levels. I think it's especially a bit more important when you consider that you can fly in the old zones, which makes resource gathering considerably faster.

nothing special really, I did dungeons but no more than 10, I had like 2 days of rested XP because I couldn't login until Sunday so that helped. I did a lot of those bonus objectives in the zones I was in as well

also Mal'ganis is like 99% horde, ive see 1 single alliance since WoD went live. but I did take that mounted combat thing

I think (after having been proven wrong already 😀) that they added ghost iron recipes for 1 - 525 to power level BS'ing... afaik, the only WoW craftable that will give you skillups under 600 is Truesteel Ingot.

on a side note, Living Steel Belt Buckle requires Honored with the Kalaxxi and that's probably why I had it lodged into my brain that my BS'er had to hit honored with that faction.

You could still level it to cata or pandaria levels on old mats and just use the good mats to get from there to 600, i actually spent quite some money on the cata elemental materials when i was leveling engineering because they were so rare for me

yes you can use the MOP base mat to level any prof to 600, it however is holy F expensive

Blacksmithing requires something like 6000 ghost iron ore to get from 1-600

cooking isn't horrid, you can level it to 525 standing at the vendor in Halfhill, after that it starts to get annoying

there are pretty decent guides on wowhead for all profs

fortunately, ghost iron is pretty cheap on my server right now (20g/stack) and I've only got to level from 580 - 600... should be a quick enough job, just gotta buy a craftable PvP recipe assuming there are spirits of harmony on my AH.

That's what I always use and they always update it.

I'm just about to hit 99. Have done all of frostfire and gorgrond and in talador. Should hit 100 shortly after starting the spires. In the areas I've completed, have done all optionals, and all treasures/elites not in the level 100 areas.

I feel like i'm going to come back to finish all the zones once i'm 100, i left out a bunch of the higher level stuff in frostfire and i've been leaving stuff out on each zone up to spire where i am right now, i gotta go back to get the quest followers on each zone

Yup that's what I'm doing. I also love the quest story line counter in the quest log. Gives me an idea of the main story lines I need to complete.

Not surprising. This expansion is so much better than the Pandarian thing. I hope whoever was behind Pandaria got a talking to.
