I'm using Tier 13 priest gear because I think it looks awesome...

Don't really like any of the other priest stuff.

I actually kinda like tier 2. Have the 2, 8, and 10 in my bank, along with assorted pieces of several others.

I ran both raids yesterday to grab my Tier 5 stuff and came to the last boss in Tempest Keep for the chest piece and nothing... the only freaking piece I was missing lol...

Now I have to wait 5 days to try again...

I've done that a couple times, get really hapy cause every boss drops just what you want...then last one screws ya. I'm actually happier when last boss drops and some guy near the front doesn't so its an easier in and out.

My guild got the 6th boss in heroic down today, just as I thought we would a few weeks ago. Nice way to cap off Highmaul, I don't think we're going to attempt the last one until we're geared in Heroic BRF gear. We average around 5 hours a week with no Mythic aspirations so I think its a good pace.

Koragh is easily as tough as Imperator on heroic, just make sure people understand the mechanics. That's it.

yea imperator is harder on heroic then mythic bladefist

koragh was not that difficult at all

I used the wrong word, tough. I should have said requirements, IE healing/tanking/dps. It's simply a mechanics fight, which may take more time and because of that seem harder.

Imp requires more raid awareness from everyone, from the mines to the force novas to the add knockbacks to the final phase lightning balls. It's also a considerably longer fight than Ko'ragh, which means more time for people to screw up. The reaver in the second transition hits harder than just about any other mob in heroic.

Unlike Ko'ragh, which just cycles phases, Imp has a sequence of phases, with the last being the hardest. It takes longer to learn the phases because you have to gradually make your way through them, rather than essentially seeing all there is to see in the first couple of minutes on Ko'ragh.

Mythic Kargath, though? My guild downed it the very next raid night after we got Imperator.

2 bars before level 100!

Did three Skyreach LFG yesterday and all three damn runs gave me gold on the first and third bosses and the same drops from the second and last bosses...freaking annoying lol

Still need to finish every zones. Just completed Talador yesterday and i'll try to start a new one soon. So far I finished Frostfire Ridge, Gorgrond and Talador. Gonna jump in Spires or Nagrand next.

Can't wait to raid!

Recruited follower #40 last night on my priest, then replaced the inn with the trading post. Got all the inn quests done, have minimum of 5 followers with each counter, and 5-6 scavengers. Might rebuild it at some point to recruit the "gold scavenger" if that's a thing, but for now I need a place to dump GR's. I have 10/10 tempered seals and need nothing from HM LFR (all I bother running), and I'm sitting at 9800 GR's with a mission about to be complete for another 375.

Another nerf to salvage yard? Hopefully this doesn't cause it to lose too much value.

It will still be worth it since they increased the follower ilvl cap to 675. We'll all need the +3/6/9 ilvl upgrades. Those are mostly what I keep salvage yard around for ... if I currently get an armor/weapon piece (yes I know they're removing them from salvage) I generally vendor them unless they're a 645, which I think has happened 2-3 times in the last 2 months.

The bigger nerf is coming from the reduction in items you get, but I don't find that to be a big deal either. So much of it now is low level gear that vendors for practically nothing. Even though I got a 665 BoE from salvage semi-early on that I sold for ~30k, I'm relatively certain I've made more money from the JC/enchanting huts than I have from salvage.

I keep it around for the ilvl upgrades, not for the money. Taking away 1 useful armor/weapon piece per month isn't much of a nerf IMO.

are you talking about the removal of the armor sets from salvage yard?

they are just removing the sets that do that upgrade to 615/630/645, you WILL STILL GET the +3/6/9 tokens. and you will get one every time now, unless they changed that

its really not a huge deal as the +3/6/9 tokens are much more valuable IMO, I have like 50 615 tokens that I cant do jack shit with

the other changes are a wash, less green crap to vendor for a few gold OH NOES

I don't believe you get one every time, but they did change the patch notes yesterday to read that the +3/6/9 tokens will continue to drop from salvage.

Also, vendor the 615 tokens. The weapons sell for 18g/ea or something.

I kinda like all the green crap to vendor from salvage. Between all my chars, that's usually at least 100G per day. 🙁

I've been making a surprising amount of money without actually leaving my garrison (tbh, I think I'm probably headed towards a break soon... haven't left my Garrison on any character in like 2-3 weeks not counting LFR).

vendor all the greens from Salvage Crates except 90+ armor and anything for transmog, run garrison missions for gear and vendor those, and then the 200+ g/day from level 3 Inn missions.

I even vendor the green stuff, it's not worth DEing in my estimation. Unless something changed, a 90+ green that would sell for 10-20g (armor) or 30-40g (weapon) will give you 2-4 dust. Those crap blues I get all the time from salvage that sell for 2-4g give 9-12 dust or possibly one of those yellow shards. At one point I checked and I was money ahead to sell WoD greens and buy dust rather than DE those greens.

yeah, I've come to the same conclusion. It'll depend on how much dust sells for on different servers but on Stormrage I can vendor something for ~30 gold, or DE it for 10g worth of dusts? Easy choice.

Yup greens no matter what ilevel is a sell. Blues are typically a DE but some of the weapons are worth selling at 60g
