Bear tank self heal is awesome. Essentially one manned the first boss of UBRS after my group wiped. I did the Malygos technique, 111 2 3. (Mangle, Mangle, Mangle, Lacerate, Frenzy Regen) Took forever though.

I have to believe MoP raids are probably quite the wipe-fest right now as people are relearning how to play their classes. Changes in stats have drastically changed gear choices. I imagine we wont' have a good sense of where things stand for at least a couple weeks.
We put a group together of ~13 people on Tuesday and did SoO on the new flex (old normal) for about an hour. We wiped once on something stupid, but we had a mixed group. Some heroic geared, some who had never done anything but old LFR level, and a tank who had never seen SoO with some isle pieces.

It's do-able. ;)

You must have had some top notch healers. A noob tank is the quickest path to death, LOL.

2 were heroic geared and we ran 3 heals for 13 people. I didn't look at the numbers but they said they weren't sweating too much unless they had to move (then it was full panic). Also, they all seemed allergic to dispels on the 4th boss.

We'll probably head in there again tonight and I'll grab some meter numbers.

You can definitely still solo ICC. I just solo'd Firelands 10 player on my monk tonight and I actually killed most the trash on 25 player before realizing my mistake. I had no problem with anything. The ability to solo is still definitely there as I remember doing 10 man with myself and a friend about a month ago in Firelands and having a heck of a time.

Just to keep everyone updated, we're progressing on the first big round of balance tuning changes. Coming in the new couple days will be adjustments to Assassination, Subtlety, Fury, Protection Warrior, All Death Knights, All Monks, All Mages, All Hunters, Shadow, Protection Paladins, Retribution, Guardian, Feral, Affliction, Demonology. Lots of number changes. To set expectations, our general strategy will be to nerf the couple OP specs (Fire, Fury, Demon), and buff the others to be competitive. Slight correction to that: A few others are coming down a tiny bit too, but those changes were already announced in my beta forum post.

Went and did my 2 BC bosses last night for pets. Got the SSC one so I can stop going to that crappy place.

On trash the damage buff seemed to still be there. I went ember tap and did mostly aoe type attacks and my damage was over 14 million.

On a regular boss without really trying to max a rotation it was over 100k.

Timewise it looks like the bosses died slightly faster than they had, and any adds during the encounter went down much easier.

Plan on running through some ICC stuff this weekend to test at wrath. I know that 25 man patchwork was still a challenege if you don't preemtpively kill all the adds causing you to still use some of the long c/d abilities to make sure you kill enough to keep the from wiping you.

:(

My guildie managed to get logs running and posted our last two SoO runs if anyone's interested. Just a heroic run, which is face roll. Yeah, fire seems strong.

I'm not sure if this is intentional or a bug, but the experience reward from random leveling dungeons is massive. The queue screen is still showing 5-6k xp or whatever, and upon completion I'm getting 18-20k. In one Uldaman run, I went from 37.5 to 40 between kill xp (no rested xp), quests, and the random reward.

In about 2.5 hours I brought a rogue from 33-40 and a priest from 41-44. Going to chain more dungeons tonight just in case it's unintended

Edit: Even at lower levels some of the tank changes seem apparent. My priest is full heirloom geared, and heirloom-geared tanks that keep pulling by the room like they used to be able to is resulting in flash heal spam with penance weaved in, and I'm still losing tanks periodically. Also, took me until last night but it would appear that spirit shell has also been removed -- I wasn't aware of that.

Yeah I noticed that too. I started a new toon with a friend. We queued for 2 dungeons at level 15. First one was RFC, second one was WC...after those two runs I was level 20...1.5 hours, 5 levels, no effort.

LFG is great for leveling.

My muscle memory is trying to refresh bombs, even when I don't have it. I wound up keeping LB on some bosses even though I should have switched.

However, having 8-10 bombs go off at the same time and watching a bunch of mobs die at once is fun. Tank last night: uhh, what was that, did you combustion them or something?

My level 49 rogue had the 300% elixir buff before the patch. Just got on him last night and the buff is gone. I opened a ticket, but I'm not holding my breath.

Did more testing, and seems crafting from the reagent bank of another char indeed doesn't work. I was pretty sure that I thought that was mentioned as a thing, and really sucks it doesn work. Was looking forward to having one char with all the cloth, another with all the ore, etc...

This weekend I'll need to go over my chars to fix them for the removal of spells. Other than doing farm stuff, only played the lock so far and he only lost 1 spell I actively used so haven't adjusted him yet, just kept the blank spots there still.

Been leveling my paladin with lfg, got from level 18 to 28 in a couple of runs, with insta queue as tank it's gonna be a breeze, right now i'm not even doing quests anymore, just gathering and leveling my pets

Awesome. Time to get my lock up to 60 before boost.

I wonder if the XP buff is good from 87-90 as well.

May have to do lfg to level my panda. Can't say I've had much desire to finish him since I got him to 10 and left the isle. Just been used as my auction toon since then.

Yeah i think i will do the same, i was gonna pvp for the rest of the month until warlords came out but i think i will just level up my alts, the paladin is going great and i got a shaman to 24 too, i need 3 more levels to finish my warrior and i will take the pally full on to see how far i can get him before the expac

Update: went on 2 runs on my warrior, got around 65-70% of the exp needed to level to 88 on those 2 runs, the exp reward for finishing the instance is what it shows on the queue screen, but i got an extra reward on my first run of 57k exp, forgot to check the log on the second run to see, but getting that much exp on just 2 runs is crazy, suddenly pandaria won't feel as much of a drag as it was before

The great stat squish/ability purge, so many rage unsubs on the Bliz forums. hahahaha! Have these morons been under a f*cking rock for the last 6 months?

Personally I love it, and the removal of +hit and expertise from the game is fantastic.

don't think any significant amount of people care about the stats that were removed.
