The main problem with the cloak is it's basically required to do good damage coupled with the several week long grind. I'm not sure how long it is currently, I don't play alts but EVERYONE I know who does absolutely hates it, iirc it's only moderately faster than it originally was.

start to finish till take almost 2 full months if you have godlike luck with drops. but for most 3-4 months

the rep grind can be done in hours
but you need 3 weeks of getting 1000 valor points (3000 total) it was originally 6000
you need 3 sets of drops from instances
the first from the first raid tier should take 1-2 weeks depending on luck
the 2nd set where you need 20 of them off a total of 14? bosses (last 2 wings in ToT and first 2 in SOO) 2 are guaranteed, this will take anywhere from 2-10 weeks, think it took me 6 weeks
the 3rd set of drops is 12 items from the same wings anywhere from 1-4 weeks again
the rest after that can be done in a day or 2

And that's with good RNG. Even cruising through LFR at times just trying to get drops I'd go an entire week and only get the guaranteed minimum. Absolutely no desire to work on anymore cloaks.

Yeah it was the 6K to 3K change I was thinking about, shave 3 weeks off the process but it's insanely long at 3+ months. I think it was the ToT drops that took me one week shy of the max, I only got one random drop.

Can you fly at 100 yet? If they have yet to implement this, then I have no reason to play. (I know the expansion is not out yet, just wondering if the decision has been changed.)

Blizzard nerfing KJC is pointless.

No flying for an undetermined amount of time in the next expansion is one of the worst decisions Blizzard has made, IMO. Not as bad as bloody coins, but still up there.

Release still looking far far away though. Garrisons supposed to be a new key portion of the expansion, and they are still going through several itierations of the basic concepts that what them to have. Still have not released the initial character model for all the playable races and judging from initial feedback they say they're still doing significant updates on the ones shown. PVP area still has not been added to beta.

Odd question but with the legendary cloak. I am about to get in on my DK but I run blood and frost. Will I only be able to get it for one spec? or both?

While I haven't gotten it yet on any type of hybrid char, I've heard that for those type of chars you can(could) get both the epic ones which then become legendary or you can buy the other legendary after you make your first one.

Based on my titan runestone drop rate yesterday through Hall of Flesh Shaping and Gates of Retribution, the buff isn't doing much.

If I get very lucky and get four stones in the Vale tonight, and one drops in Pinnacle before Lei Shen, maybe I'll finish this week, otherwise it's another reset for me.

My daughter signed up for beta a couple weeks ago, and yesterday she noticed her Battle.net client was downloading the beta. I'm guessing that means she was accepted to beta, even if she didn't get any other confirmation.

Jeez. I can't even get titan runestones to drop other than the guaranteed ones from Lei Shen and Sha of Pride during the buff. I must have terrible luck.

yea people were complaining about it last time they had the buff as well that they only got the 2 guaranteed ones. I got 4 from the first wing of SOO this week and got my cloak last night on my alt
