They have been, but warriors seem to be one of the classes getting a huge amount of changes.

Good or bad changes?

I've read abit and looks like Fury 2H warriors are in the top 10 DPS and I don't really want to try a Warrior Tank since I have my Paladin for that...

Should I wait a bit?

There's also the Death Knight that I always wanted to try, could level one...damn altisis...

No idea, changing around a bunch of their abilities and reintroducing a bit of stance dancing, but we'll have to wait till we have a larger number of people playing it till we know what it means.

I think i'll just take the plunge and spend my 90 boost on a new Warrior...been too long since I wanted to play one and can never seem to level past 25 out of boredom.

That's how I feel about rogues. I'm probably going to use my 90 boost on a rogue, though I may try to push to 60 for the professions.

Yeah forgot about the professions...wow it'll be hard to try to wait to 60...
How high are your professions with you boost a level 1 character?

I don't think professions are boosted at all on a level 1.

if you boost a lvl 1 your profs stay at whatever they were, if you boost a 60+ you get the 2 main ones + first aid to max level

TBH its not that large of a deal, most people barley level profs when leveling anyway unless they are gathering profs

its easier to just do it at max level

If you haven't gotten the bnet launcher may want to do so shortly. Blizz just announced that they'll be putting out patches for the individual games that don't require the bnet launcher to use it and disable the individual games launcher.

I decided to boost a level 1 Orc Warrior on Twisting Nether (my home world )

I'll try a Fury 2H build...just need a 2 hander lol.

Love the class so far but i'm a bit lost. I'm trying some rotations and i'll get the hang of it soon but it'll be easier when I get a 2H.

One other thing, even though my Mining's at 1, I can mine anything, Ghost Iron, etc. Is that a feature that comes with the 90 boost?

I think they changed the gathering thing with Panda land, it may have come with Cata actually

works with all gathering profs IIRC

I know it works for fishing because I leveled fishing from 1-600 in panda land

I'm 99% sure they made the change for fishing (feasts), think it was this xpack but I'm not sure.

yep, you can mine and herb in pandaria to skill up to max since patch 5.3 I believe. it was in part with them adding catch up mechanics, like skilling up blacksmithing at any level with ghost iron and cooking in 5.2

Beta starts this weekend, so an effective July beta start. Should they not run into any major problems that they can't just push back to 6.1, should be the quasi-standard every other November expansion release.

Guilds can advertise themselves as recruiting in the guild interface, you should be able to find one there. You can choose options such as PVP, raid, casual, etc. It will list guilds that meet your criteria, guild level, member count, etc. At least I seem to remember something like that, I haven't looked at the guild interface in a long time. My guild is just me and my daughter.

My guild is small like that too. Only have 4-5 active people. With the LFR gear changes coming in WoD, I am trying to find something that works with my work schedule.

Yes, you should be able to go to any blizzard realm forum and see threads for guilds that are recruiting for that realm.

Almost feel like I could quote myself. A lot of expansion discord brewing now that more eyes able to see the game in beta and people aren't liking what they are finding out.

Heirloom/tabard UI shelved to 6.1 or later.
Garrisons have lost most of the customization/specialization previously discussed/planned. It is now basically farm 2.0 now except instead of planting crops daily you do buildings once.
Less raid/dungeons than we've seen before.
Still no flying and now some are surmising its due in part to some otherwise inaccessible areas using 2D graphic place holders.
The previously discussed horde/alliance bases have been scrapped as developed for PC areas. They will have limited access as POI/quest locations. Auction/bank access and related items now to be tacked into the pvp zone entrance camps.

So it looks like the should have no problem continuing to cut/delay content to meet a November release.

I've been doing some ToT LFR to finish up my SPA rep. Had a wonderful wing yesterday. Went to hit soulshatter and saw it was still on cooldown, found that odd until a moment later when one of the tanks dinged the loot 100 gold achievement. After the next trash pack having a similar wondrous time, someone asked him how much hit his char had. After wiping on the second boss group had enough and he got the boot.

Tried FLEX for the first time today. I dont know why I have never tried it, SO much better than LFR. I also got 3 drops on my first wing.

If you don't have a normal group getting into flex is by far the way to go. It's at least pre-formed groups so you get less derpyness and more accountability. Sure, they aren't immune from being horrific experiences, but they can be much better and better loot.
