It's june already, and they've just started sending out select alpha test invites.

Yeah I am a bit disappointed with the WoW drought. A few months ago I was expecting to be in WoD for the summer, I guessing release 2 weeks before blizzcon...

their finished products never fails but I wonder if I'll still be interested in 6 months...

The blizz loves horde and $#&^% alliance on the forums is beyond hilarious.

Shocking news, Horde won the bike vote.

Can you blame the people? The ally bike looked like trash. Way to much metal. It needed some color to it.

I didnt care for the tread on either but it worked on the Horde bike.

Saw some mined data and it looks like the bike will be part of the anniversary reward this year.

If you don't have enough bloody coins yet you may be screwed. Isle censer was stealth nerfed with a 1 hour cooldown, so hunt in packs or be prepared for a lot of down time.

I thought the polished aluminum with brass accents looked fantastic, but the horde bike was just a beast.

In all the bike rallies I've been to and area rides I've done, I've seen some crazy bikes, including one that was basically a dragon on wheels that shot flames. And either of these Blizz bikes would stand out as amazing pieces of work that I think anybody would love to ride.

When we were developing the Timeless Isle, we wanted to add some incentive for players to engage in world PvP independently of faction balance. To that end, we created the Censer of Eternal Agony and Bloody Coin mechanic. This created a “third faction” of sorts on the Isle, and brought an extra element of danger to players adventuring there.

We’re happy with how that worked out when Patch 5.4 released, but as time has passed, the general atmosphere of the Timeless Isle has changed. The majority of players who venture there today are either gearing up alts, or chasing after rare drops. As a result, we feel that it’s time to let the sun set on the Censer of Eternal Agony, and have increased its cooldown to 1 hour. Players who want to use it for its original purpose still can, but it will be a much larger setback when they’re defeated in battle.

That said, we still want players to be able to collect Bloody Coins (and the rewards that come with them), so we’re making some adjustments to the Fire-Watcher’s Oath item, which can now be purchased from Speaker Gulan for 100 Timeless Coins. The Fire-Watcher’s Oath allows the collection of Bloody Coins from PvP kills, doesn’t change your faction, and it can be used anywhere – including Battlegrounds. We’ve reduced its cooldown to 10 minutes (which matches its duration), removed the mounting restrictions, and have dramatically increased the ability to earn coins from PvP kills while it’s active. We want players interested in earning Bloody Coins to seek them out in a Battleground with use of the Fire-Watcher’s Oath.

Overall, we feel that these changes will not only make the Timeless Isle more attractive to players interested in its rewards, but will also give players collecting Bloody Coins a better way to earn them. We’re monitoring your feedback, and will continue to make adjustments as necessary.

Firewatcher oath hotfixed to give a 100% chance of a coin on a KB.

Till end of the month wrathion rep gains doubled and chance of legendary quest items on kill increased.

They also discussed some of the squish mechanics. MOP content looks to be the end of the linear line from original release in the new stat scale. To ensure you fight appropriately against older content, pre MOP mobs have a modifier to do less damage to chars above 90 and chars above 90 will do increased damage to pre MOP.

I think i'm gonna resub...again...

Do some of you are in a casual-friendly guild that would like to add some new members? I'd love to level some new toons with people I "know" and not feel completely alone in the world :p

Leveling a Pally...Holy or Prot?
I'll probably go Human or Draenei on this new toon.
Never tried Holy, mostly been speccing Ret...I did Prot a bit but got bored at level 25...but that was by the end of my last resub where I was already bored a bit with altisis (spelling?).

Now that i've just resub and having some time before I move to my new place, i'll start from scratch with a Pally.

Leveling? Why wouldn't you go Ret? Unless you are dungeon crawling to level go DPS and enjoy doing quests faster.

I've only leveld Ret Pallies in the past and never got that far before losing interest...but i'll give it another shot.

I heard that Prot leveling is quite effective and fun and it's be easy to get into LFG as a Tank and since I never really tanked it could be a nice change of pace.

Or maybe i'll level a Ret Pally and a Prot Warrior on the side...

The AT land WoW group pretty low right now.

I don't really play pally in group, so mainly do Ret and I find it rather boring right now. Button size is manageable but everything has a long enough of a C/D so after the first cycle you're pretty much waiting till they come due again. Also the class isn't nearly as powerful as it was in previous expanions.

Now if you really want/like either tanking or healing on one, all you need to do is get up to the high teens and you can then just do dungeons for your leveling.

Yeah LFG is perfect for leveling. It's so fast and you get loot in the process, really like it but it gets repetivie quickly...but new dungeons are unlocking while leveling so it's not that bad.

Really don't know now what i'll level. Always wanted to level a DPS/2H Warrior, I might go that route...Pally was always my favorite class so i'll have to level one too. Don't want the free 90 though, I want to experience the class...

I'm in a mood to start fresh and take my sweet time so being guildless for now is not really an issue.

Lupi, what server are you on?
What server most AT WoW players are on?

I've never had a problem with DPS on my prot paladin while leveling. Most dungeons until 80 I was doing half the damage of the whole group. Avengers shield > Judgement > dead. It was only after starting to do Cata dungeons that I've found anybody catching up to me on DPS. :p

I might start a new Horde character too.
I already had some toons on Emerald Dream so I started there...Horde my main is on Twisting Nether but I don't mind getting a fresh start in a new place.

Skipped a couple weeks of raiding, in part from being busy and playing marvel and in part because I knew the buff was coming. Went in this last week and got 8 of 12 titanstones. A significant magnitude better of the previous collection quest. But any better for me than the secrets which for several weeks in a row I would only get the guaranteed ones.

Blizz posted that there is a 50% off the program sale going on.

I'm on ED, but these days I log in, raid, log off. I'm in a guild that has been around for about 6 years if you're looking for a home there.

Might as well check that too.

I always prefered Horde but my favorite class is the Pally...but Tauren is meh. MY 90 Undead Lock is on Twisting Nether though...in a guild that is pretty strict about raiding...so I never raided with them (i'm new there).

I could also use my free 90 to get a Warrior since I always wanted to try this class...DPS War though, is that viable?

They have been, but warriors seem to be one of the classes getting a huge amount of changes.
