Everything is crazy fast now. My daughter and I started playing a couple of months ago, and between the two of us have amassed (and spent) thousands of gold, started a guild with just the two of us and our alts, I have two level 63s and a couple low level alts, she has a 63 along with several low and mid level alts, and we've leveled the guild to 5 with 4 bank tabs. Compared to pre-BC when I last played, that's light speed. Heck, I think I've gotten more gold from one Blingtron gift than I earned in a month back then, LOL
 
Been playing since Lich King 5 90's and many more alts most on BWR which seems to be close to dying. I here there gonna merge servers if true anyone know when pug raiding is extinct on this server

its very fast going from 1-80. it will slow down a LOT. but gold still flows fast.


I made a horde alt a wee ago and don't play it much and up to 46. it gets boring not being in a guild so nobody to talk to heh
 
not sure if everyone knows this or not, but

you can get 300 valor for the barrens weekly quest instead of the 200.

1. Valor cap for the week
2. Gain valor of the ancients buff.
3. Acquire 150 meat/stone/lumber/oil
4. Log out in Razor Hill on monday night
5. Turn in quest on tuesday.

For some reason the VotA buff persists for an extra day after the weekly reset, as long as you don't go through a loading screen.
 
I have been away for a long time.
I tried going back to eq1 but didn't have the time for the very long raids.
So I tried lotor but forgot how boring it was doing the deeds.

I am just looking to play something when I have the time and not deal obligated to be on all of the time.

As far as a class goes not picky, wanted to
Try the monk but will play any class.

That was my biggest surprise coming back after a long break. Played from Beta to shortly after Naxx in a progression raid guild, then quit until 2 months ago or so. Such a different game.
 
Depending on what you want to do, the game is fairly solo friendly/time as you have available skewed at the moment.
 
My wife and I recently got Mysts, just to see what was up with Pandarens and monks (I used to play back in original, BC, and Wrath). They've nerfed the game to where it sucks now, just boring as hell. We played for 2 weeks and quit.
 
The Panda Island is damn boring. Great environments and all but the quests are freaking boring and repetitive.

My highest toon is a Destro Lock 87 and I can't find the will to level him to 90. I'm in the 87-88 region now and it looks like a bit more different than taking care of gardens and killing rodents...
 
I'd say that the quest are better in that they are almost all developed to follow one of the story lines, similar to how the initial human zones were done way back in vanilla. Other than that, there are only so many variants of quest performance they could do and I don't recall any that felt particularly overused, excluding dailies.
 
My guild was 3/13 on 25 man and had issues with people grasping mechanics so they dropped to a 10 man for a bit and are 8/13 in 2 weeks.

I haven't been raiding much, but my Warlock is 538 and I just log in to do my farms each day and not much else. I am up to 350k gold now.
 
My lock got the cloak from the legendary quest line yesterday.

He is item level 531 with no normal or heroic gear, only raid finder and valor gear, I haven't even managed to get a 516 weapon from heroic scenarios yet.

Me and 2 buddies. I stopped a few months into Cata and came back a month ago. Few thoughts

MoP leveling is boring and repetitive. I guess that can be for all leveling expansion but at least its streamlined.

Took a bit to relearn classes, rotations (lock and druid)

Just started heroics, love chaining them for now because I need gear and JP/Valor

Did LFR it reminds me of old school 15 man Scholo / UBRS in Vanilla .. Very much a 25 man heroic.

Lots of dailies and other things to do but I don't have much time for that.

Oddly enough, I got ganked more leveling a toon in Cata zones than I did in MOP in 2 toons to 90
 
i keep thinking about coming back to the game, last year i tried to roll a warrior and got to around 21 until i stopped again, i keep thinking i can invest an hour or so a night on this and i fail miserably every time, first week goes great, by the second week i lose all will to log on
