Because they don't have boredom in China and India?

Some jobs don't require on demand progress all day. I may neff most of the day, but I am not slacking. I just don't have enough work to do and my employer doesn't care. It's a don't ask don't tell policy.

yup same here. This morning i had a request labeled 'urgent'. Finished it in about 35 minutes and now it's a waiting game til i get another request in. I work with what they give me. I can only ask for so much additional work before they start to question if my contract is useful to renew. I think contributed to my contract not getting renewed this year. I was asking for too much work. I know that sounds stupid, but that's how it is.

I neff in between work or while working or while slacking or on lunch or whenever else I feel like it.

One of the things my coworkers and I do to amuse ourselves is try to write the perfect '@' on password stickers. I work on laptops for field users, we always put a sticker with an ID/password on it on the laptops for new hires and repairs. A lot of our users use an '@' in their passwords. Here are a few examples:

There are weeks where I am ridiculously busy, then days like this where it's just blah all day long. And when it's blah, I wish it was busy, but when it gets too busy, I wish the work would just go away.

why not type it then print it out? wouldn't that save a ton of time (not that you don't have enough on your hands it seems) but it would also cut down on people not being able to read your writing.
