At work on a Saturday...

I work 6, sometimes 7 days a week. Nothing new for me. That said, I have the Iowa/Iowa St game on in HD on 20 bigscreens. 😀 And when that one is over... Auburn/LSU. And after that... Florida/Tennessee.

Muahahahaha

We all got called in this morning for an emergency 'Don't do dumb sh1t!' briefing.

Seems our DUI rate for 2006 up to Aug 31 was more than double the entire year of 2005.

I have a temp job for the weekend; I get paid to do nothing. Literally, nothing. I give people packets on info on a neighborhood devlopment and answer the phone, but that takes a net of 15 minutes over the entire 7 hour period. The computers use a login, but I bring my laptop in and plug it into the ethernet. Even still, I wish I was home so I can play with my cats and sleep instead.

At first I wondered - what job would that be, and how soon can I apply!?!? But then I think I got it - you work at an electronics store. Am I right?

I work remotely, and my boss isn't concerned much with when my hours get done during the week, just that they get done. So I goof off early in the week, and end up working most weekends.

same situation. However when the office is quiet (no meetings, nobody asking me questions) I get 3x the productivity.

I'm at my 2nd job 5 till 9 Thu, Fri and Saturday nights 😛.

Wow, I'm like an hour and a half north of NYC and the weather is total crap outside.

Damn that sucks. It has been rainy and cold all week, and I have some sort of virus giving me a mild fever and some muscle pain... such a great day outside and I'm stuck in a cubicle :\

Yup 😉

I did for the past 3 years. Quit at the beginning of summer as my summer job payed in 1 day what I made in 3 (about a month just working weekends:|). All I can say is man it's nice to have a real weekend again.
