I'd like to eventually move to one of the smaller towns in the area that are no more than a few hours away. Super cheap housing, relatively quiet, and could probably have big enough land for projects such as a solar farm or wind farm, or both, among other similar projects.

i too live in ohio. trust me. nv is so bad in comparison.

I have lived in Reno, and prefer it to Columbus where I am at now. I have been told I am crazy, but the real crazies are the ones that can breath in this shit soup of an atmosphere that is ~75% of this country. You just drove through Nevada, or only been to Las Vegas?

Elko, and Great Basin National Park are gorgeous. Baker is the model of an awesome town to just roll into and feel at home. Gerlach, and the whole Black Rock desert area are absolutely breathtaking for how small you feel and the natural wonder of the hot springs and playa. (burning man be damned).

Of all the states I have lived in, Ohio is definitely down there. It is where I grew up, so I can't complain too much, but Nevada is better. My priorities do not align with the average american, so maybe that is why you are trying to facilitate misinformation to me?

well columbus is not great. any big city, really. i think id take cleveland over columbus, but just barely. i got lost on the east side of columbus a week ago and thought i was gonna die 😵 so much ghetto. that walmart where half the shoppers are drug sellers, and half the shoppers are drug buyers. seriously, never seen a walmart so scary in my life. (i was also the only whitey so it didnt help)

imho i gotta live at least an hour away from a big city regardless of where i live. otherwise its just gonna be a traffic snarled crime infested disease ridden down trodden smog afflicted mess.

You mean east of Bexley, or like far east, in Reynoldsburg? Honestly, the diversity is what I missed most from Columbus when I lived out west. At least the racism is more discrete out there, except against Mexicans, and even then the argument is about who is chicano or mexican so it is actually kind of comical.

My philosophy is that it sucks to live anywhere that has a traffic report on the radio. Gotta do what you gotta do.

You are some kind of crazy if you believe Cleveland is better than Columbus. Even Cincinnati is better than Cleveland and it is behind Columbus in most aspects.

You either have to be the fucker or the fuckee. Clearly you like recieving.

Sorry, that's what happens when you're an actual good human being instead of an ignorant, selfish, worthless pile of shit who'd be of more benefit to the world burned alive in front of his family so the rest of us can roast marshmallows for smores over his twitching, pitiable corpse. Of course, that's only my opinion.
