At what point does "Nationalism" become practical?

If one is a fan of the hula-hoop of the day, multi-culturalism, then you are it favor, is seems, of nationalism, just not in favor of the White or European nationalism of the founding population.
You will identify with, say, La Rasa a mestiso nationalist organization financed in part by the very PC Ford Foundation . Or NAACP. Or ... on and on it goes.

The truth is, if a county is not nationalist, its population will soon be displaced by a population that is. Is the displacement of the founding population and their close relatives in the US a good thing? I don't think it is. But the elites, at least the ones we hear about, think it is a great idea.

But the G-man says I'm more free now cuz the Patriot Act is protecting me now instead of that old, and outdated Bill of Rights... It's all part of the Fatherland, I mean Homeland Security....

The question properly is: At what point does "Nationalism" cease to be practical?

The answer is: When it is finally too late to matter.

So... Are those Russian extremist-nationalists too late with their nationalism, or do you consider their killing of foreigners a good practice?

you said it right there. PC liberals like to focus on 'white' nationalism. But let other races nationalism slip. The Russian extremist position is just as bad as Mexican claiming parts of American belong to them. Both have overtone of racism in them.

It would seem that most here are leaning toward an increased nationalistic mode..? I think many of our actions are pretexts to sustain the mode of PC, so that the world does not imbibe the "i hate america" beverage. We try to dance lightly and make it seem that we are doing things to help, but I fear in all reality, we are just desiring a resource hungry expansionist movement. ah Civilization...quite an interesting term...

Nationlism is good to prevent ethnic tensions. Also it is good when somebody is invading your country.
