i overclock to the point of diminishing returns, wherein the massive vcore increase needed for that last extra 100mhz is simply not worth it. usually 80-90% of max overclock.
 
I simply can't go any further with my CPU (E4500). Went all the way to 2.9ghz on stock voltage but won't do 3ghz even with 1.5V.
