At what point does everyone stop OCing CPU?

i overclock to the point of diminishing returns, wherein the massive vcore increase needed for that last extra 100mhz is simply not worth it. usually 80-90% of max overclock.

Until my VRMs start to want to melt. Then I back my settings down for 24/7 usage.

I simply can't go any further with my CPU (E4500). Went all the way to 2.9ghz on stock voltage but won't do 3ghz even with 1.5V.

There's probably another factor that's limiting you then.
