Edit: There may be scientific basis for this. Once a woman has had children, there's no biological incentive to be sexually attractive, so practicality takes over.

However, it all depends. Short hair doesn't become everybody. But thinking of it I guess it should happen at some point of a woman's life, b/c I haven't seen any elderly ladies with long hair. Strange, never thought about it till reading this thread.

I'd say it depends on the woman, if a lady keeps her figure and thinks she looks great and feels sexy, yhen I dont see a problem with her doing it till whatever age she wants! Lol,I have a few rules for myself,no bathing suits,no shorts and no skirts ever. I had 4 major abdominal surgeries,I havent worn a bathing suit at a public pool in over 10 yrs
