Going bald is not generally a "regular" part of aging like wrinkles. While the hair does thin as we age, a generalized thinning isn't the same as going bald. Baldness is a genetic thing, the if and when it will happen depends not upon your age, but your genes.
I'm 27. When I was in my late teens and early twenties, I had hair so thick that it was a problem. I was always having it thinned when I got a haircut. I also had a hairline like a chimpanzee -- low and straight across. Around the age of 25, I started noticing that my hairline was receding. Over the last couple of years it has gotten a lot worse and now my hair is thinning a lot too. It really sucks because I have always looked a lot younger than my age, but now this is really starting to make me look like an aging man. I am about to start Propecia and try to hold on to what I've got. Hopefully it won't get any worse.
