Well, none to speak of here - I was never really interested in the single-serving-friend scene, and right now I don't really want a commitment to a girl, and I don't really want to make a girl put up with me not putting up with her.

BTW-I think I've only been on one date in my life. Back in the day you used to be able find women at the weekly parties and after mass consumption of intoxicants they were pretty pliable.

17, but all our "dates" over a 1.5 year period were characterized by that "let's go bowling" mentality. Is that bad? Not really. An organized date (not organized by me!) would have been nice once in a while. Overall, far from a bad experience. Good friends with him still. At least, I would be if he'd ever write back.

My first real date was for turnabout, junior year of high school. that wouldn't have even been a date in my book except that we decided to skip the dance and take the train downtown and frolick.

hmm i dont think i've ever been on a date either and i'm currently turning 22 this year, i've had 4 past relationships, the longest being 2 years. however i didn't necessarily go on dates with them, more like met them, hung out time to time, and then bam the truth comes out , either i tell them i like them, or she tells me she likes me, and we're together...and looking back at it, i find it to be economically benefitting.

unfortunately, most of those were puppy love type of things, a mature girl right now would most likely be asked out on a date before taking it to another level. and since i dont have the balls to walk up to a girl , it'll be hard to break the ice. i'm in college by the way and i dont find it easy ...any tips ? :]
