Yeah that guy Reggie was a bit much. I almost kicked him. I actually had to kick a few guys yesterday (pm me or Vivi if you care). The thing is guys, is that Vivi has generously donated this server to us. It's ours. We're there to have fun. We can work together on some of the outstanding options. If a guy is being a jerk or ruining it for everyone else, then F him. Frankly I don't want to have to deal w/ knuckleheads either but I will. There's a reason that there is a need for admins. And I don't think we need all these heads to fill a server anymore. We've now filled the server a few times alone since the updates. Personally, I don't mind trash talking, team bickering, swearing - but that's just me. Now, immature, mean-spirited, cheaters, disrespectful players, and racists, etc - I'm sure we can all agree have no place on OUR server.
As far as "all talk" is concerned. It's kind of fun when you are playing w/ guys who you know. A little trash talking or friendly banter is pretty welcome generally when you are playing with guys you know or have become familiar with. You pretty much get used to it. You just type anything you want secret
Did we check on reserve slots Vivi? I know there are now a few ATers complaining that they couldn't get it - which is a bloody shame now that we may have something going here.

How on earth you got that from what I just said is beyond me,...... but I'll bite. We're going to come back to AT, talk about people, see if they make the cut, then go back and ban them (for no reason at all - especially if we just don't like them), like 8th grade cheerleaders.Now back to reality, or for those *not* learning disabled, I don't plan on playing on a server that has people being asshats to "our" guys, or calling people "awesome people" and what have you. But that's just me. If people don't care. That's fine, then let me know. Because I won't be playing there.

I agree with what marmasatt said. i guess maybe we can setup rules and give player warning before kicking them. i don't mind trash talking, but if a person keeps calling people name and verbal attacking people, then it has to draw a line some where. and big thanks to vivi for the server

If you do find users who are being dicks, and they do leave before you can ban them, just jot down their full steam id name (typing status in , and I can manually ban them later.
I feel that most admins will give a few warnings, them kick/ban...so I do not want to get into writing up rules just yet, unless it gets out of hand...just do what the mods on here do
.I am also working on getting 2-3 reserve slots for just AT admins...If anyone does not want admin, but wants a reserved slot, PM me your steamid and I can get you in the reserved slot as well.

Just FYI for everyone with reserve slots, it does not automatically recognize you if the server is full, you need to do the following:
1. Open your console by pressing the ~ key
2. Type in "connect" then press space
3. Enter the IP address for the server (I usually do a copy/paste)

I've gotten 4/6 new items. i've put in like probably close to 30 hours. Of course I didn't actually play like most of it. Just left him sitting in achievement_idle servers.
My item collection currently: 2x Force of Nature, 2x Bonk, 3x Sandman, 2x Blutsauger, 2x Ubersaw, 2x Flare Gun, 3x Ambassador, 3x Razorback, 2x Cloak and Dagger, and a huntsman. There are others but those are just the regular ones that I already had 1 of.

Maybe I came in on a wrong night but it seemed like almost everyone in the server was playing due to the free weekend lol. There were no medics and like 6 spies on my team. Fun times.

I have to go with Howard on this one .. I enjoy the banter of all-talk just as much as the next guy, but I play TF2 to win.
I like the ease of team-talk to get things done. Also, just realized there's no admin command to toggle all-talk? I assume rcon is locked down.TRENDING THREADS
