Fight night cancelled ... again! Server thing was unfortunate
Hey guys,
KeithTalent authorized me to make this thread. Going to leave it unstickied for now. The last thread didn't work, but this one is going to be different.
First
Based on the last poll, i'm going to set the date/time for SATURDAY AUGUST 20th 9PM EST. If enough people say it doesn't work, i may change it (obviously some people won't be able to make it) to Sunday.
Second
If you haven't joined the Anandtech Team Fortress 2 Group, join here http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ATTF2
I'm going to set a scheduled meeting that will notify everyone of the event. I or Keith will send out reminders the day before and also earlier on saturday.
Third
If we need more players, i will try to get more players to fill in from, perhaps reddit (or another community). We could maybe do an anandtech vs. reddit event, based on need.

Fourth
This may be optional, but we'll try different game modes, like highlander mode, to add variety to the fun, rather than just mindlessly killing each other for the same objective over and over again. This will depend on what most people want on the server.

A bunch of us has the pw to the server so we can change settings. All talk will DEFINITELY be on, because it's more fun to talk to everyone than just your team (although it may be turned off for highlander and other game modes where people take strategy more seriously). Other settings may change as well.
