Really. AT&T splits into a bunch of itty bitty companies (Baby Bells). Itty bitty companies slowly absorb each other (SBC, etc.). Ailing quadriplegic loses nose (AT&T Wireless). What was once an itty bitty company eats its parent, which joins the nose (Cingular), and eats yet another itty bitty company (BellSouth).

Eww.

I don't think they embraced newer technologies as they could have.
Their business phone system was the best in the industry, but fell asleep on that one.

Which is why I said "Ailing quadriplegic loses nose (AT&T Wireless)."
AT&TWS was a part of AT&T until it got spun off in 2001. Then Cingular (SBC/BellSouth) bought it in 2004. Then SBC bought AT&T. Then at&t bought BellSouth. Thus, AT&T Wireless is effectively redigested vomit.

Isn't Battle.net Hosted by AT&T.

They made countless untold hours of entertainment happen. Thanks!
