We have 4 lines mine is not main but I want to change it from Unlimited Elite to Unlimited Premium? Mainly to get the 10 GB extra of tethering so 50GB total instead of only 40 GB. Will this effect our free HBO Max or anything else ?

Any disadvantages of going from Unlimited Elite to Unlimited Premium?

Like with QCI ?

This took me about 2 seconds to search via Google. 🙄

AT&T quietly introduced a "new" plan, Unlimited Premium. The Premium and Elite are same including pricing, except Premium has 50 Gb of hotspot comparing to 40 Gb for Elite.
Premium will do away the HBOMax streaming. I think the intention is to phase out the Elite plan. To me, it is better to have HBOMax than the 10 extra Gb of hotspot.
