AT&T refuses to stop calling my work

So almost every day at my work, we get a call from "Out of Area." When I answer the calls it's always someone from AT&T saying that we switched from their long distance years ago and want us to switch back. Every time I tell them to take us off their list, and that we are on the do not call list (Sidenote: I found out businesses are not eligible for the DNC list.) They keep giving me the runaround saying they have multiple centers where they make the calls, or that it takes 60 days to stop getting calls, and I am fed up with it. I am now going to start fucking with them as much as possible, and I need your ideas.

I have already pulled up a Schwarzenegger soundboard and messed with one of the solicitors with a little success. I had Arnold start swearing at him a little too early so it didn't last long. Any other links to good soundboards that I can use? I was also thinking about telling them to hold on, then putting the phone next to some really inappropriate music, or sounds.

Give me your ideas, I will update with results.

One of the reasons i hate AT&T, they did this to me at an apartment i had before the DNC list was created. I told them numerous times. Finally i got fed up, told them i was recording the calls and logging them and if they didn't remove me from their list i was going to pursue legal action for harassment. The calls stopped.

email the CEO goatse, ***** (the girl that is tub is censored!), etc. etc. pictures and when the sue you for elevnty billion dollars, tell em you'll stop, if they stop.

Also, you'll probably end up on cnn (if that's your thing)

Shouldn't be too hard to find his info off the consumerist.com

(In all honestly, just try emailing the CEO without the goatse, might get the job done :) )

Not sure what the problem is, you only need to tell them once to put you on their Do-not-call list and they can't legally call you again for a year. Unless they are talking you out of putting you on that list, in which case, they've already been fucking with you. Don't mistake the national DNC with their do not call list. Two different animals. Next time they call, tell them to put you on their Do-not-call list then terminate the conversation. Don't debate it with them, just say, "Put me on your do not call list", then, interupt their response, saying again, "Put me on your do not call list," then say good bye. If they call you again within a year, they owe you money. I think it's $500.00 for each occurance.

Just ask, "why I would possibly want to do business that is so inept that it takes 60 days for a simple database update?"

I just put the phone down and keep doing what I was doing. Eventually they hang up.

Refuse to continue on the call until they give you their mothers maden name. Then keep asking for more personal information until they hang up, its fun.

It's not AT&T, it's another carrier pretending to be them. I had the same problem.
