Newegg is featuring this wireless broadband card for $40 today.

Does anyone have any feedback on this card? I've been waiting for some sort of pre-paid service for wireless broadband and wonder if it would make sense to get a card now.

I understand that. I was thinking that it would be good to have a card if/when someone does offer prepaid service.

If you have Comcast, I would wait a bit. They are going to be rolling out wireless broadband cards pretty soon. It's in beta still, I believe they are doing that in Portland right now.

I wonder why these cards are being featured in one-day sales all over the net. Is AT&T discontinuing them? Are they on the verge of introducing a different kind of access plan. I wish someone would tell us what is going on.

The Comcast option is a non-starter for me. The Comcast pilot is a non-starter for me.
