AT&T Motorola RAZR2 for -$49.99 at Amazon

I just signed up for T-Mobile and paid a lot for the RAZR2 (they were asking $219 with a 2 year commitment), and here a couple days later, I see that I could have gotten paid $50 (with the rebate) for the same phone at AT&T. I just got mine yesterday, and it's a really nice update to the original RAZR, and I think this is still Motorola's top of the line phone.

wow what a deal.. JK contract phone plans are bad idea.. and you could have got the Tmobile Wing (200+$ phone) for free with tmobile with 2 year contract..

did you go to the mall and sign up there? just trying to figure out how you got such a bad deal

Yeah, the $219 price was directly from T-Mobile's 800 number. Their website is selling them for $249 with service.

Thread crap much? :disgust:

yup it is thread crap in a way i agree! but it aint a hot deal it requires multiple year contract and ATT! -49$ is very cool tho but each months bill will be more than 45+$

No big deal, I just happen to see it on the Deal of the Day on Amazon. They also offer Motorola's new Z9 slider phone around the same price. I might actually have preferred that phone over the RAZR2 since it is a little smaller.

@ OP you know that Tmobile has whats called a "buyers remorse" policy which allows you to return your phone and cancel your contract within a certain time frame (15-30 days usually) right?

Unless you talk that much, a better deal is a $25 T-Mobile prepaid phone with 1000 minutes for $100. For me, that lasts half a year.

The willingness to sign up for a 2 year contract for a phone is indicative of the pay later culture that doesn't value freedom and has no qualms with being locked in
