I'm currently trying to find a place where I can add another line for cheaper, or just cheaper in general. I'm currently with Cingular (from AT&T) and I called them about adding another line. They said they can't add another line because the phones and service were different. They then said I could totally switch over to cingular for 18 dollars, and use one of their new plans. I'd rather not do that, and I heard somewhere that I could drop their cell phone service (at&t AND cingular) completely for free due to the merger. Is that true?
 
you can drop the service if you are out of contract, if you are in then i don;t think you can drop it without a fee
